Don’t let your brain trick you…

Don’t let your brain trick you…

We all love a great story right!?

And, we have access to some smashing stories in our heads, all the time.

Some helpful, some unhelpful, some long, some short – just one sentence, and some on replay and spinning!

One story I used to tell myself was, if I worked really hard, at every moment, in every day, I would achieve what I wanted sooner. I would make the impact I wanted. And, I would become who I wanted to be.

I just needed to keep going, don’t stop, even if it’s hard, or doesn’t feel right – that’s part of the process. Just crack on, full steam ahead.

And whilst this story may have had its minor benefits(?), largely, it was unhelpful and made me feel ****!

Slow down to speed up, is a much better story I tell myself now.

I’ve realised the stories in my brain about myself, my business, my coaching, my personal life, about anything, are self-manufactured. It’s the meaning I give to an experience and/or circumstance.

They are MY stories.

So, if you're ready to let go of the stories that don't serve you, and intentionally believe the stories that do, we should talk.

All my best
Nemisha
