Here’s 3 things I’m doing this year I wish I started last year:1. Ditched the gym and joined PT… well kinda. If you know me, you know that I barely have any time engage in extra circular activities. I found that with the gym I am left my own devices + usually choose the option not to go to the gym. Personal training however means that I’m held accountable in my sessions + I actually enjoy it. Ive always avoided doing personal training because of the assumption that it came with a heavy price tag. I know now that it doesn’t need to be because I found small GROUP PT class for a fraction of the price of individual PT.
2. I don’t always work until 4/5am. I must admit that although I still do this SOMETIMES, the difference now is that I don’t feel like I have to. They keep telling you in order to be successful you must sacrifice your sleep. Guess we’ll find out?
3. Enjoying social time! To be quite frank, I always regarded myself as a “busy person” and because I’ve referred to myself as a busy person I naturally made no time for social engagements. I’ve stopped thinking of myself as busy and somehow have found free time in the day (on occasions) for reading, PT, important things in life etc. And believe it or not, the last time I went out I didn’t get the growing urge to go home to jump onto my laptop!
