You don't have it - sorry, not sorry.
𝗧𝗛𝗜𝗦 is what it takes to be a good leader:
1. Problem solving abilities:
↳this is a huge one to unpack. Essentially it is about gathering facts and understanding limitations in order to arrive to a solution to the problem
2. Emotional Intelligence:
↳we talk about this all the time, but most don't have it
↳it is not just about you and your emotions, it is about how to identify and use these
3. Communication:
↳there is a science behind it, did you know?
↳spoiler: it's not just about the spoken words but also about actions, behaviours and delegation
4. Critical Thinking:
↳oh, another buzz word, except it's not - you need to know how to be a true critical thinker without thinking - does this make sense? It has to be second nature
5. Self Regulation:
↳who are you, what do you stand for, what are your values? And most importantly...
↳how do you react when the situation tests those values?
6. Role Modelling:
↳the workplace is your runway. Does your presence have any influential impact?
↳you're trying to be inspiring but others are just not biting - have you tried A/B testing this?
7. Leadership Training:
↳nobody is born a great leader and it certainly doesn't happen over night
↳what can happen instantly is a commitment to learn about being a great leader -make that commitment today
