Whatever happened to common courtesy?
I was talking to a client recently who clearly needed help with his self-marketing strategy.
He is seeking a move after 20 years with the same company and not surprisingly his approach was traditional: he had applied for over 40 advertised jobs with next to no responses and no interviews and was very disheartened.
I appreciate that the job seekers’ market has changed more in the last 10 years than in the whole of the last century, but surely common courtesy still says the applicant deserves a polite response at the very least. #proteuscareermanagement
