The Maisum team is excited to share a recently completed solar panel installation on Chameleon Web Services, a local Halesowen business. Since we've worked with Chameleon in the past, this was a fantastic chance to assist them in reducing their energy costs.
We installed 36x 440w N-Type Trina Panels.
Total system size - 15.84kW
Expected annual production - 13,947kWh
With this, Chameleon will have 55% grid independence and will save a projected £73,202 in net savings over the next 20 years.

Although we usually post updates on the installation of solar projects, we decided to share this time about a different solar project recently completed in Halesowen.
We performed an annual maintenance on the solar system at the Hawne Chemist, ensuring its continuous safety by evaluating its conformity with the current BS7671 electrical safety certificate.
Additionally, we installed a new Emlite bi-directional generation metre restoring the ability of the previously damaged one which stopped the client from reading their production.
Lastly, we provided the client with any recommendations we had discovered. As usual, the customer comes first, and we make sure you receive the best possible service and are provided with all the suggestions that can help you enhance your energy storage.

Along with finishing their office, we installed solar panels for Chameleon's Director.
We installed 18 x 440w N-Type Trina Panels. These panels were ideal since they perform better in low-light circumstances and degrade at a slower rate than P-Type.
This is estimated to result in an annual production of 6,137.59kWh giving them 59% grid independence.
Along with this, we added a Growatt Hybrid Inverter with two Growatt 6.5kWh batteries. Battery storage works well in conjunction with panels because any excess electricity is kept in the solar battery system rather than being wasted. Batteries are especially useful when panel output is limited on overcast days, in the evenings, or at night.

FAUN Zoeller is a subsidiary of the KIRCHOFF Group, which has 46 factories in 16 countries across three continents with roots dating back to 1785. This was a significant opportunity for us, and we're excited to share the results of this project. With an expected annual savings of £4538 and a Return on Investment (ROI) of six years, the estimated long-term savings for FAUN Zoeller is £136,456.
